I’m so sorry I am only now finding out about Alan’s passing. Prayers and hugs Mark and Jill. My very first memory meeting him Mark was when  you were managing 244. I said oh my- just like his Daddy❤️  And I remember all his artwork from preK or kindergarten that you hung in your office. My heart goes out to you and all who knew and loved him. **Something to Remind Me**

Lord please give my family and myself comfort, peace and strength as we lay to rest our son,  grandson, brother and father.  Allen had an absolute heart of gold and he was love beyond measure. I'm not sure when I'll stop crying, today isn't it.  Just know my sweet boy how much you were truly loved on this earth and that you will be missed deeply.   I Love You Allen, I carried you under my heart and I will carry you within my heart forever.

Allen, it is with a heavy heart I write this. I will never forget our times on the ball field together. We shared many laughs, frustrations, wins, and losses. You were the epitome of a competitor and teammate. The same fire and compassion you brought to the field is the same love you brought to your friends, family, and sons. I will always admire that. You wore your heart on your sleeve. You loved with all your heart and gave all you had. My deepest condolences, thoughts, prayers go to your family and sons. I love you man and will miss you. I remember meeting Allen and Kimberlee years ago when we all lived beside each other. Allen always had a smile on his face no matter the time of day. I remember sitting outside until 3am talking or the many times Allen and Kimberlee would take time out of their day to come see me at work. Allen would always make sure our elderly neighbor always had what she needed day or night. One day he even left my daughter(s) crayons and markers on our doorstep knowing they had a rough day the day before. I always knew he would make a great dad, his love for children was amazing and his heart for anyone was pure gold.  You were/are so very loved and will be greatly missed.❤️

My favorite memories are playing ball with allen and his dad. Allen was such a competitive player. We had our positions. He played short and he always wanted me playing third base next to him. He was very passionate about life. We played side by side and had a lot of good life discussions. Such a stand up dude, and will be missed. Love you my dude.

Oh Allen...
I had the pleasure of meeting Allen in 2010 when he dated my sister. During that time he became really good friends with my husband Jonathan and our lives was instantly changed. Allen always was smiling and always in such a good mood. We all went to the beach together and that was a trip in itself (lol)  But so many great memories from splash country to family gathering to him living with me and Jonathan at one time. He would get off work at pilot and come to our apartment and we would all just laugh and have the best time. He was just the best person. A couple years later him and Brittany ended things and we all lost touch. We however ran into Allen right before Tripp was born he was so excited to tell us about how he was having a son. (All while I believe buying toys at toys r us for the bonus son he had already gained) He looked so happy and in the best place we had seen him in. When we left that day Jonathan was so thrilled to have seen him and we both was so happy for him. Even though years had past we still loved him and have so many just inside little joke that we still say to this day. I know Allen faced things that we didn’t understand and I wish we could have helped him. 😭 I hope his boys realize just how special their daddy was and still is to so many people. I hope they have a passion for sports just like he did. ⚾️🏈⛳️🏀🥎

I really can’t believe I’m writing this. It had been awhile since I last spoke to Allen but we spent a lot of time around each other from 2014-2016 while both trying to get our lives together and learn how to love. We played softball together for several seasons and he was a fierce competitor who just hated to lose. Every player and umpire in the park knew who he was (for better or for worse lol). We butted heads on the field because we were both so passionate and his competitive side may have gotten him in some trouble a few times, but he single-handedly won multiple games for us. I’ll never forget some of the amazing plays he made during those games. Allen was always so honest and open about where he was at with his life and the problems he was facing, and he would make you feel like it was ok to not be where you thought you needed to be and to always keep pushing forward. He loved his family and friends more than anything and just wanted to be seen as a good person. I prayer for his family and friends who will miss his strong presence in their lives. Rest In Peace, Tink. 

I have seen Allen in the best and worst of times...but he usually had a smile on his face or making a corny joke.  He gave Byron his heart and showed him guy stuff, football, play station, Batman and Byron will always treasure that.  He loved both Byron and Tripp with his heart and soul.  To be there when Tripp was born was fantastic but watching Allen that day was like watching a slow motion movie.  He was so in the moment, when is he coming, what will he look like, I hope he looks like Katlin, where is the doctor, why don't they do something....needless to say a student nurse caught Tripp because the doctor wasn't there.  I thought  Allen was about to faint but as soon as Tripp was here he was the best daddy!  May the boys always know and remember the love he gave them and the joy they brought to him.

When I First met Allen we were way too young to know better... We'd waste time on the clock at the Cedar Bluff Pilot/Taco Bell... Then he'd come over and we'd play video games until it became obvious it was too late and he was gonna be in trouble...

Many Moons Passed and he grew up in front of my eyes.. A Young Boy with big dreams became a man with a huge heart and massive drive that would make many people jealous

We Struggled together, Played together, cried Together and prayed Together.

Allen was such a blessing to me. Just when I wanted to Give up.. Tink Showed Up! He Literally saved my life on so many occasions

No matter what Allen was smiling he was always playing around being goofy like a kid he could instantly be friends with anyone 

I never thought much about you actually being out of my life for good. The time has come where I have to say goodbye, and I’m not sure I’m ready. When I think about you so many things stand out. The way you loved, how sports was life, how you tried to make everyone so happy, how Katlin and your boys were your world. Your passion about things, life, and people stand out to me more than anything. You loved so big and hard. All of our memories I will keep with me, I’ll continue to be there for Noel, and I’ll be the best aunt Brittany I can be for Byron and Trip. Although life will change a lot for many of us, we will speak your name proudly. We will carry your passion and love with us forever.  This is not goodbye for me, this is I’ll see you later. Be at peace now brother, you are home. ❤️🙏 

My first memory of Allen was when his dad and all the guys playing softball at Wynona over 30 years ago. We all called him“Dirt” because he was always covered in dirt and sand. That boy loved ball and watching his daddy play ball. Then  he grew up to play with his dad. I don’t get the love of the Raiders...😬 but him and his dad had that love together too. I always called Him  Big Al later when he was older even if he just 4 foot tall. Hee hee. I’m gonna miss the little feller. Love you Big Al (Dirt) gods speed. 

When Eli turned 12, Allen knew that he loved nerd guns so he found a whole arsenal of them on marketplace and went and got them so Eli would be so happy and surprised on his birthday. That meant a lot to us all. He will be missed!

I met Allen through Katlin and we were a part of the same fellowship. Both trying to find our way to a better life after long battles with our own demons. Allen had the best sense of humor and was affectionately called “Tink Tink” by a lot of our friends. I remember when he found out he and Katlin were going to have Tripp and how excited and nervous he was. He loved being a dad and loved Byron just the same. We hadn’t talked much in recent years, but I will always remember him as the funniest guy with such a joyful spirit and always making those around him laugh. He had a huge heart and wanted to give everything to his family, but the darkness always seemed to be waiting just around the corner for him. I didn’t meet a lot of his family, but I heard so much about them and know he loved them dearly and wanted to make them proud. My deepest condolences are with all who loved him. 

So many memories but what always stood out was the way he made other people feel comfortable. I could come to the house to see Katlin, in absolute shambles, and no matter what he could always relate to the situation and always made me feel like it was ok  to just be me, and to feel the way I was feeling. No judgement ever. The Fowler/Arwood household has always been a will always be a safe place for so many people. 🧡🧡

This past summer when sis took trip n byron to the beach n we had the whole house to our selves along with alec fritts n dalton powell we shot fire works celebrated my 34 bday.  N just talked about life n how much better things were going to b.   I know u loved those boys like crazy n my sister.   I promise as long as im around ur sons will never not know who their daddy was n is n how much he loved his boys.  N as trip grows n begins to play ball u will b looking down n seeing it all with us....  lv fam

I never was fortunate enough to meet this young man but I spent my high school years with his grandmother, Sheila Knight.  She smiled constantly, even when she talked.  She was the kindest person I think I have ever met and if if her grandson, Allen, she cherished was anything at all like her, he was a beautiful person.  He left a lot of friends behind who will have impressionable memories to last them the rest of their lives.  So remember to to be happy like Allen and enjoy life and leave your mark on your friend’s lives.

Allen was an wonderful person who I’m grateful came into my life. He was a good friend to me and became a brother as the years went on. My struggles were the same as his and that was our common bond. His smile will always be what I remember him by and how competitive he was (lol). He loved with all his heart. Please know he made a positive  impact on my life. My love and prayers will always be with his family and children.
