Maria Hall

On the evening of April 11, 2025, Maria Letzia Ferrentino Hall passed away at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital, Panama City, Florida. She was 98 years old. Maria was born in Castellammare di Stabia, outside of Naples, Italy. She later moved to Rome and resided there until she met her husband during the war. Once in the states, she dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife and mother. She loved her family with passion. She loved to teach. She loved to dance. She loved to drink her wine. She was an incredible story teller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Hall and her son, William J. Hall Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Babetta Sofia (Hall) Pryor; four grandchildren: William Hall III, Jennifer Dodson, Amy Marino, Michael Denton and great-grandchildren: Aiden Carter, Javontay Clyde and Briseis Endsley.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Church of the Immaculate Conception, 414 West Vine Ave, Knoxville, TN 37902. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM with Father Charlie Donahue officiating. Family and friends will go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920 for an Interment Service.
