MARTIN, MARTHA N. HOBBS - age 71 of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at her home after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Georgia Hobbs; sisters, Wanda Chambers and JoAnn Tyler. Survived by husband of 51 years, Howard; daughter, Tami; grandchildren, Nicholas, Bryanna and Kaitlyn; great-granddaughter, Lilly; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carroll and Charlene Hobbs and Malcolm and Janice Hobbs; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Rita Freels and Barbara Webb. A special thank you to Dr. Richard Grapski, Daniel Scaperoth at TOC, James Pharoah at Statcare Pulmonary, Robert Kasprzak at Covenant Health, Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center and Ft. Sanders Hospice Nurses. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday with the service to follow at 8:00 pm. Rev. Charles Webb officiating.
