Mary Lee Brewer entered the courts of heaven on 10/19/21. She was born 12/25/1930. Mary was preceded in death by her husband James Benjamin Brewer and mother Ruby Umbarger and father Henry Lancaster. Mary leaves behind daughters Teresa and Cathy Brewer, son Greg Brewer, daughter-in-law Michelle Brewer and granddaughters Jansey and Maryn Brewer. Her life exemplified Christ in many ways. Her joy was contagious & consistent in her character. She served others and her family well and with a happy heart. One way she served was through making meals. For those who knew her you didn’t leave her house hungry, she didn’t feel like she had done justice unless you had eaten something. She would gladly make each person a custom meal. She also served the widows in the community by bringing them home-cooked food, getting their groceries and fixing their hair. While living she showed Christ-likeness in her actions, in dying she has gained much more because she now lives with Christ. She truly gained more than this world could ever give her today. Her life was encouraging and inspiring to those around her. She touched hearts that will last for generations. May she enter His courts with praise and rejoicing! Family and friends will gather at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at 12:45pm for a 1pm Graveside Service.
