Dampf, Mary Lou 93 of Knoxville, TN passed away Saturday August 11, 2018. She was born to the late Howard and Helen Farley. Mary Lou was a resident of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in St. Louis where she met her lifelong friends the late Mary Evans Kinghorn, Eileen Murray Arbini, Lorraine Schwartz Cordaro in first grade. They were known as the Four Roses, graduating from Rosati-Kain Catholic High School. In 1953, she married the late Philip M. Dampf Jr. Mary Lou was a long time member of the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and The Ladies of Charity. She was preceded in death by brother, David Farley; sister, Helen Farley Peebles. Mary Lou is survived by children; Philip (Karen) Dampf III, Marianne (John) DePersio, Tom (Lisa) Dampf, Helen Dampf, John (Amy) Dampf; grandchildren, Philip (Megan) Dampf IV, Rachael Dampf LaBonne, Jacob Dampf, Dominick DePersio, Michael (Tessa) DePersio, Mary DePersio, Andrew (Roseann) DePersio, Alexander (Sara) Dampf, Stacey Dampf, Breanna Dampf, Courtney Rae Bivens; great grandchildren, Jace LaBonne, Annmarie DePersio, Josie Dampf, Brylee Rae Bivens, several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, August 17th from 9:30-10:30 am with Mass officiated by The Very Reverend David A. Boettner, V.G. immediately following at 10:30 am at Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 711 S. Northshore Dr. Procession to Berry Highland Memorial on Kingston Pike for entombment after Mass. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to The Ladies of Charity or the Cathedral.
