Mary Ruth Irwin

Mary Ruth is preceded in death by parents, Tom and Dolly Ogle; siblings, Doris Owenby, Ella Maxwell, Willimae Baker, and Wayne Ogle; granddaughter Lori Banks. She is survived by daughters, Brenda (Larry) Henry, Vicki (Scott) Allen, and son Steve Lowe; grandchildren Beth Blackburn and Jessica McLendon, Tyler Allen, and Stephanie Lowe; great grandchildren Hope Brindle, Hayden Humphrey, Zoe and Zane Henry, Zavier McLendon, Harlee Cate and Teague Blackburn; and two great-great-grandchildren, A'moura and Nia'laya and many nieces and nephews. Special niece, Karen Archer and special friend, Ann Effler.

Mary Ruth was born in Sevierville, TN and was known for her love of staying active by traveling and hiking. She loved sharing that she’d been to nearly every state in the country and collected post cards and special memories from every place she’s visited. Mary Ruth, known as Nanny to her family, will be sorely missed.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Patrick Koster officiating. Committal will follow in Berry Highland South Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.berryhighlandsouth.com
