Mary graduated from Rule High School in 1963, and went on to work for the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She worked for 43 years as a Unit Secretary for the hospital, and was very proud of her accomplished career there.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Leon E. Mingie Jr., her mother, Marie Hensley, and her brother, Richard Hensley.
She is survived by her son, Chris Mingie, and her sister, Marie Clowers.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Monday, January 5th from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Berry Highland West Funeral Home, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932. A committal service will follow at 3:00 PM at the mausoleum at Berry Highland West Cemetery.
