Michael (Mike) Joseph Patty, age 57, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016. Mike worked for Red Classic Coke in Knoxville. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who loved airplanes, laughter, and had a heart of gold and didn't meet a stranger. Mike was preceded by his father, Thomas Patty; 2 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived his wife of 13 years, Linda Patty; son, Michael Patty Jr; daughters, Jessica Patty and Michael Teasley, Beth and Bill Robbins, Mary Jo Patty and fiancé, Jacob, Lindsay and David Lee, and Serena Joiner; mother, Mary Jane and step-father, Paul Wooliver; 11 grandchildren, Alden, Mason, Emma, Brantley, Adam, Cadence, Michael, Sydney, Ashlyn, Elizabeth, and Jayce; brother, Dennis Patty; 1 niece; 1 nephew; and numerous friends; special friends, John Carr, Matt Tackett, and Steve Smith. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, a service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Greg Williams officiating.
