She was born and raised in Murphy, North Carolina and was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Sherrill Branam. She is survived by her children,Debra J. Reed (Eugene), Jane Bible, William Branam (Chara), Richard Branam (Teresa); grandchildren, Davin Clark (Mercedes), Slade Hurst (Candice), Sloan Branam, Bristoe Bible (Catie), Gage Cole (Hannah), Peyton Branam (Braelyn) and Rylee Branam; great grandchildren, Greyson, Eleanor, Weston and Blakely Maive; special niece Sandy Michael; great nieces, Olivia and Emily; sister-in-law, Betty Noel; cousins, Betty and Wayne Smith and many close friends.
A visitation will be held for Mildred on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 12:30pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:30. A graveside service will be held at 3 at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
