Nell Anice Rauhuff, age 97, of Knoxville, Tennessee born May 4, 1926 in Sevierville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Holston Health and Rehab Center. Nell retired from Shoney's Restaurant. She was a longtime member of New Hopewell Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU. While active with the Women's Mission Union Nell and her sister, Sarah would collect items for those in need. She loved to watch the wildlife around her home and loved to garden.
Preceded in death by parents, Robert L. and Margaret Rauhuff; sisters, Sarah Ford, Ruth Glance, Hazel Hayes and brother, Claude Rauhuff.
She is survived by her devoted niece, Norma Smith and Nell's best buddy, Bill Smith; great nephew, Hugh Smith and wife, Amanda, and best little buddy, Tyson Smith; several nieces and nephews; dear friend, Vicky Brogdon.
Family and friends will meet at New Hopewell Cemetery 10 am, Wednesday, August 30, 2023 for a graveside service. Rev. Travis Henderson officiating.
