Nina Walker Sands, 65, of Maryville, Tennessee formerly of Liberty, Texas passed away peacefully on August 31,2025, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born on December 11,1959 in Liberty, Texas, Nina was the beloved daughter of the late JB and Patsy Ethridge Walker, she was also preceded in death by her brother, JB Walker Jr.

Nina will be remembered for her strength, unconditional love, and fearless spirit. An avid reader, gardener and someone who found deep peace and happiness by the ocean.

She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Sands; her children, Codi (Chris) Jones, Justin (Whitney) Crowson; and her grandchildren, Walker, Landon, Logan and Sawyer.

Nina welcomed Timothy’s children and their families as her own; Tina (Bill) Stair, Lucas (Kristen) Sands, Echo Sands, and Brandy Sands.

She is also survived by her sisters, Trenia, Tanya and Sharla.

Her legacy of love and strength will live on through her family and all who were fortunate to know her.

A celebration of Life will be held on December 6,2025 in Hull, Texas where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the beautiful life she lived. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.com
