

Pamela Kathleen Krueger Riley, age 80 of Knoxville, passed away on August 12, 2025. Pam was born in Greeneville, Tennessee, on October 19, 1944. Her father was Walter H. Krueger of Detroit, Michigan, and her mother was Kathleen Dickerson (Kay) Krueger of Mount Vernon, Kentucky.
Pamela was direct descendant of Revolutionary War Patriot Solomon Dickerson, she was a proud member of the Andrew Bogle Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She represented her chapter as a delegate to the State DAR convention held in Knoxville in 2002. As well as performing during the opening ceremonies, she also sang for the memorial service. She was active in the Knoxville community throughout the years. She had been a freelance media relations professional. In addition, she served as Public Relations Director for the Knoxville Museum of Art and as the Director of Development and Media Relations for the Florence Crittenton Agency. She was the first recipient of the Annual Mayor’s Award in recognition of her work for Knoxville’s “Christmas in the City” event. She was also a member of Ossoli Circle and the Knoxville Symphony League.
Her varied career included time as a Public Relations Specialist for Phillip Morris, Inc. in New York City. In addition, she modeled through the years in Knoxville and Nashville and sang professionally in the Knoxville area. She appeared in television commercials and was the host of several television shows. She was an account executive for WIVK, where she also did on-air work. While attending the University of Tennessee, she was a charter member of the Angel Flight, a support group for the Air Force ROTC program’s Arnold Air Society. She obtained a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Tennessee with a minor in foreign languages. While attending UT, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Michael T. Riley, her son, Sean Patrick Riley and his wife, Molly, her grandson, Jackson Scott Riley, and granddaughter, Natalie Brooke Riley, her brothers-in-law, Bruce Riley and wife Barbara, Mark Riley and wife Alex, and niece and nephew Anika and Steven.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 23, 2025, between 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home on Kingston Pike in Knoxville. Interment will follow at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
