Pamela Wayman

SEYMOUR, TN - Pamela Wayman, age 83, of Seymour, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Sacred Ground Hospice House.

Pamela was a devoted member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church for many years, where she cherished her time with the "Women of Grace," "Abundant Life," and Linda Tipton's Sunday School Class. She was known for her love of Southern Gospel Music, especially The Gaithers.

For over 30 years, Pamela served in the classified advertisement department at the Knoxville News Sentinel. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, attending all their activities and events. She also treasured visits to her favorite vacation spot, Garden City, South Carolina.

Pamela was the devoted wife to the late Robert Glenn Wayman for 51 years and a loving mother to Robin Wayman and Anne Ford (Jeff). She is survived by her daughters; grandchildren Casey Jordan Ford (Ashley), Cameron Thomas Norris (Elizabeth), Andrea Hope Ford, and Paige Melody-Ann Hosseini (Cameron); and great-grandchildren Addison and Chloe Ford, Caroline, Jack, Mary-Grace Norris, and Delta Hosseini.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wayman, mother Ola Schwartz Bradley, father Earl Schwartz, and sister Marilyn Robbins.

The family extends special thanks to Pamela's dear friends Shirley Murrell, JoAnn Childress, Sandy Hurst, Robin Helton, Terry Widener and Shelby for their love and support.

A receiving of friends and family will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM, officiated by David Haun. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 for an 8:30 AM Interment officiated by David Haun.
