Patsy Gean Matlock

Matlock, Patsy G. Smith, 81, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of Thursday August 1, 2013. Pat was born in Muskogee, OK and resided in Knoxville all of her adult life. Preceded in death by Ira and George Smith, parents; Diane Carroll, niece; brother-in-law, Bill Carroll. Survived by loving husband, Ralph W. Matlock; children, Vicki Matlock Gasparich and husband Joe, of Greenville, South Carolina, Michael and wife Sandy Matlock, of Powder Springs, Georgia, Mark Matlock and wife Dawn, of Knoxville, TN; sister, Barbara Carroll; niece, Patti Carroll; nephew, Ryan Jackson; grandchildren, Jessica Snedigar, Matthew and Rachel, Dylan and McKenzie Matlock. A special thank you to our dearest caregivers and friends, Mona, Karen, Karson, Kayla, and Debbie for their special care and love over the past weeks.

Family will receive friends at Weaver Funeral Home, 5 – 7 pm Saturday, with 7 pm funeral service to follow. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Park, Sunday, 11:45 am for 12 noon interment service.
