Paul Dexter Kirk, age 80, of Knoxville, TN went to his heavenly home on September 11, 2025. He graduated from Holston High School. Prior to retirement he was a sheet-metal worker and performed paint and body work on cars. He was gifted with his hands and could create, make, build, or fix anything and his family was greatly blessed by his talents. He was known as a “helper of many and fixer of all things.” Paul will be remembered as a selfless man, willing to help anyone he could, as a hard worker, and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Those who knew him loved and respected him. He enjoyed his family, eating out, and tinkering with his 40 Ford.
Preceding his death were his parents, Earl and Dorothy Kirk (Cornelius), brother Jim Kirk, twin sister, Pauline Smith, and wife of 49 years, Linda Fielden Kirk.
He will be dearly missed by his sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Renonda, Jason and Jody, his three grandsons, Brady, Caden, and Lincoln, his sister Barbara Roland, sister-in-law Freida Kirk, and several nieces and nephews.
At Paul's request, no services will be held.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away". Revelation 21:4
