Paula Meier Knight

With hearts full of sorrow yet anchored in hope, the family of Paula Knight announces her passing into God's eternal care on January 19, 2026. Surrounded by love, Paula departed this life and entered the joy and peace of her Heavenly home.

Born on February 20, 1952, Paula devoted her life to the roles she cherished most; Mom and Grammy. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she found immeasurable joy in spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, whom she loved more than anything on earth.

Paula was known for her selfless heart, her thoughtfulness, and the quiet ways she showed love -- especially through the handwritten cards and notes she faithfully sent, bringing comfort, encouragement, and smiles to those she cared for. Her gentle spirit and tender devotion to her family reflected her deep faith and trust in the Lord.

Paula was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene, and her parents, Louis & Virginia Meier, her sister, Carol Meier, and her son-in-law, Steve Thomas.

She is survived by her daughters, Ginny Hickman and Melissa Thomas, her precious grandchildren, Eliza and Micah Hickman and Connor and Kennedy Thomas, and her sisters, Charlotte Wilson and Susan Buckman (Tom).

A woman of grace, Paula believed in the power of kindness, gratitude, and prayer. She enriched the lives of those around her and leaves behind a legacy of love that will remain in the hearts of her family forever.

Though her loved ones grieve her absence, they take comfort in knowing she now rests in the presence of her Savior, where there is no sorrow or pain -- only everlasting peace.

Paula will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and eternally cherished.
