

Peggy Ann Mabry Kolinsky, age 78 passed away on May 15, 2016. Born on October 14, 1937 to the late Margaret Marie & Alvis Mabry of Camden, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Central High School in Bruceton, TN. Peggy attended Stephens College-Columbia, Missouri & the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She was a majorette for The Pride of the Southland Band, a member of Tri Delta Sorority, named Pi Kappa Alpha Dream Girl & Engineering ACE Queen of Hearts. Peggy was employed by United American Bank, active in the 1982 World’s Fair and worked in the Trust Division of First Tennessee Bank for 27 years. Having been raised in her family’s clothing store in Camden, she enjoyed working part-time at Miller’s Department Store when the West Town Mall first opened and later at Proffitts Department Store. She was a member of WIC (Women in the Church) at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her loving family: son & daughter-in law, Frank N. & Lisa C. Kolinsky, son John Michael Kolinsky. Seven wonderful grandchildren: Nicholas, Keenan & Mitchell; Charlie & Tommy Kolinsky, Christina & Peyton Landers and great-granddaughter: Norah Landers. Peggy’s family was her greatest pride & joy. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to: Doctors and staff at The Cole Neuroscience Center, Dr. Jeff McMichael, Alzheimer’s Tennessee, East Tennessee Personal Care and the wonderful staff at Shannondale Assisted Living Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer’s Tennessee or E.M. Jellinek Center. Receiving of friends will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 9am-11am at Berry Highland Memorial at 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville TN 37919 with the Burial to follow.
