Phillip "Phil" W. Knight

Phillip "Phil" W. Knight, of Knoxville, TN was born on July 19, 1943, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 82. Phil was a devoted member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, all sports and loved shopping.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Carolyn Knight; son, Jimmy and his brothers and sister.

Phil leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Ollie Juanita Davis Knight; children, Phillip, Michelle, Norma, Neal, Carolyn, Nikki, Tara and Richard; grandchildren, James, Jada, Mya, Sadie, Maddison, Trevor, Navaeh and Annie; great grandchildren, Niko, Jae-Lanii and Lila; brother-in-law, Ronnie Davis; sister-in-law, Carol (Steve) Caughorn; and several nieces & nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 4:00 pm. at Berry Highland South, 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN, 37920.

A graveside service is scheduled for Monday December 8, 2025, at 10:00 am at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN, 37920. Services will be officiated by Rev. Jimmy Metcalf and Rev. Norman Smelcer.
