It was such a pleasure and joy to know Ray. I truly feel he taught us all here at Sertoma so much about what it means to be kind, to greet someone with a smile, and love with your whole heart. Ray will be greatly missed.

Ray was always a fun guy to work with. I will miss him deeply.

Sad that you left us, you're in a better place.  You're not hurting anymore but I'm going to miss you!  You're Friends from Surtoma.

Having the opportunity to know Ray was a blessing.  Ray was also so happy to see you.  Just the way he greeted you when he saw you made you feel loved and appreciated.  Ray will truly be missed.  My condolences to his family and everyone who's life he touched.

I was so blessed to know Ray for the past 5 years. Every time I saw him he would give me hugs and go through my current collection of pens. He will be dearly missed, and I consider it a great honor to have known such a sweet spirit. Ray we love and miss you always RIP. Until we meet again my friend!

Our Sertoma family has lost a dear member.  Ray always had a smile and hug for me and would tell me he loved me.  The feeling was mutual. He was the biggest flirt, always asking us girls if we were married.  I will miss you Ray. We were blessed to have you in our lives.

I loved Ray.  He was my buddy! I enjoyed working with him so much.  He was funny and always so appreciative when you helped him out in any way. He always gave me a hug and told me he loved me, and I always let him know how much I loved him.  He will be sorely missed.  Rest in Peace Ray!

To Ray's Family and Friends,
He will be truly missed coming to Sertoma to see us!, I'm sad that I'll get to keep all of my pens, especially the one he wanted the most - the fighting giraffe!

What a great guy he brought a smile to everybody's face he certainly brought a smile to my face every time I met him. Ray will truly be missed but he has a great home in heaven today. Thank you Ray

I REMEMBER RAY AS A SMALL CHILD MY DADDY USED TO TAKE US KIDS UP TO VISIT HIM AND HE ALWAYS WANTED TO GIVE US BANANAS BLESS HIS HEART HE IS IN HEAVEN WITH MY DADDY NOW HE ALSO LOVED COLLECTING PENS BLESS HIM

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

To Ray's family and friends,
Ray was a very special friend; he was the first person I ever met at Sertoma, even before my interview for employment in 1992.  He set the tone for the friendly and warm atmosphere of Sertoma.  At that time, Ray was part of the maintenance team and he retained much of his maintenance knowledge through his retirement.  All of us at Sertoma love him very much and miss him.  I am happy that his suffering has ended and that he has joined his friends and family in heaven.  Susan Kincaid

I cannot begin to say how much Ray will be missed. There are no words that could do that justice. I miss the big hugs and smiles I receive whenever I see Ray. Thank you for sharing him with us.

So sorry for your lose. May the God of all comfort  be with you and your family in this time of sorrow PSALMS 29;11
