Rena Mae Abbott Shepherd, age 95, passed away April 9, 2026, at home from dementia. She was preceded in death by parents, Ora, and Anna (Beeler) Abbott. Survived by son, Kenneth, and daughter Debbie; grandchildren, Mark, Kristy, Tracy; five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and five siblings on the West coast. She was an active member of Tekoa Baptist Church for forty years before dementia prohibited attending. Visitation will be at Weaver Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12p. until 1 pm.
