Richard Lynn Harrell

Harrell, Richard Lynn “Tataw” – 63 of New Market passed away June 29, 2010. Mr. Harrell worked for ASARCO for 34 years. He enjoyed watching Lady Astros softball and UT Football, fishing with his wife, and spending time with his grandkids and Pudgey. He was preceded in death by mother, Ida Harrell Hodge; mother-in-law, Lora Hoffman; and father-in-law, Clyde Hoffman. Survivors include wife of 44 years, Linda Hoffman Harrell; daughter, Sherry Foster and husband Jeff; son, Kevin Harrell and wife Laura; son, Kenneth Harrell and wife Nicole; grandsons: Nicholas Harrell, Hayden Hawks, Hunter Harrell, Lucas Harrell, Caleb Foster and Cameron Foster; granddaughters: Haylee Hawks, Makenzi Harrell and Katelyn Foster; brother-in-law, Jack Huff; special friend: Jane Barkley; as well as his very best friend, Pudgey. He was also known as “Tataw” to Patty, Michelle, Adam, Marybeth, Courtney, Nate, John Hawks, Ally, Alyssa, Alex, and the Lady Astros team. Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, July 2nd at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 8pm with Rev. Justin Walker and Rev. Sean Watson officiating.
