Rita Myers Kamper 68 of Knoxville and previously of Pennington Gap Virginia passed away on April 20th surrounded by family. She was retired from Knox County school system where she was a teacher for many years.
Preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Kamper, her parents Anne and Fred Myers. She is survived by her brother Bill Myers and wife Sherry. Her sister Cathy Myers Bailey. Her nephews Anthony Bailey and wife Sierra, Justin Bailey and wife Suzanne, Jonathan Bailey and wife Courtney, David Myers. Her niece Brandi Smith and husband Brad. 13 beloved great nieces and nephews. Also a host of friends.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 25, 2021 in the parlors of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy. Knoxville, Tennessee from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Family will then drive in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee for a 3:00 PM graveside service.
