Robert Lee Gibson

Robert Lee Gibson, age 85, of Seymour, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 14, 2022. He spent the majority of his life as a Master Carpenter. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He is preceded in death by wife Virginia "Tootsie" Gibson; son Gregory Gibson; parents Robert and Edith Gibson and four sisters and a brother. Bob is survived by his children Steven (Terri) Gibson, Tinka Gibson, and Connie (Ray) Whitted; grandchildren Derrick (Misty) Gibson, Dustin (Rebecca) Gibson, Ryan King, Kyan (Ericca) King, Joshua King and Michael Whitted; great-grandchildren Hunter Gibson, Abigail Gibson, Ridge King and Dante Whitted. Bob also leaves behind five sisters and two brothers. His family wants to give special thanks to the staff of Holston Health and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care they provided Bob during this time. Bob's family welcomes friends for a Visitation Service on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Berry Highland South from 4pm-6pm, with a Funeral Service to follow. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland South Cemetery on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 12:45pm for a 1pm Interment Service. Services will be officiated by Bob's grandson Rev. Ryan King.
