Ronald Wayne Maples Sr.

Ronald Wayne Maples Sr., age 70, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Ronnie is preceded in death by his father and mother, Buford and Gertrude Maples; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Dot Whaley and Gerald and Claudia Whaley; sister, Dale Headrick and best friend, Brother Vincent Collins.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Patricia Maples; sons, Ronald Jr. (Reashell), David Lee (Cheri), Ronnie Dewayne (Krista), Ronald Shaun, Ronnie Dewayne, Jr. "BB:, Brandon and special son, Ethan; daughters, Nevaeh (Caleb) and Alexis; nephews, David Eubanks (Regenia), Gary and Nora Whaley, Shawn and Janice Whaley (he loved your donuts); mother-in-law, Beulah Parton and father-in-law, Jerry Parton; good friend, Julio; sisters-in-law, Donna, Sandy and Linda; his sweet Sue Brooks; dear friend, Matt Dean (he hated your burps); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Aubrey, Katelyn, David Jr., Luca "Tumbleweed", Walker, Grayson, Bentlee, Lennon and Gatlyn.

A visitation for Ronnie will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1:00pm, Matt Dean officiating, at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
