Ronnie is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Ball Chesney; and daughter, Renee Dawn. He is survived by his children, Ronda (Ronnie) Gross, Rochelle (Joe) Hart; grandchildren, Ramsey (Angel) Jimenez, Ryan Gross, Josh Hart, Jacob Hart; great grandchildren, Gabriella Jimenez and Savannah Hart; brother-in-law, Loy (Julia) Ball; and special family friends, Scott and Suzanne Sheffield.
Ronnie and Carolyn traveled many years collecting Carnival Glass. When he was in his early twenties, he loved to drag race and earned a couple of boxes full of trophies. This led to him loving to collect and restore antique cars in his later years. Ronnie was always easily recognizable by his bright yellow, measuring tape suspenders. After his retirement, he learned to play the electric organ and loved to play for his family.
