I am sorry for your lost. I did not know your mother, probably met her in the past.
She is resting peacefully. The grief will get easier to bear as time goes on. Praying for you.

I was blessed to have met this warm, kind and loving person when she visited her daughter in Chicago, IL. It is written in the word of God, that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. To our goddaughter Connie, in this time of mourning take comfort in knowing that Daddy Robert and I will always be there for you, as you are a part of us. We're praying that the family of Mrs. Chappel gains strength to face an ultimate truth of life. We will meet with her again. What a wonderful day that will be.

Annetta, Alma, Connie, and family. I didn't know your Mother was still alive, since so many of our parents have passed away, so it's a true blessing that you had her with you for this long. I remember your Mother as being a very gentle, dignified lady, and I'm sure she had many more outstanding qualities. I just remember being impressed by her manner, although I was just a kid. My heart goes out to you and I pray that God will comfort and strengthen your hearts as you adjust to no longer having her earthly presence, although she will continue to live on in your hearts.

In the time that I was blessed to spend with this beautiful lady, she taught me very important things about life. She shared stories of raising her beautiful girls and how being their mother was everything. Just gave me some perspective on life with my children and making memories. I will miss my weekly updates on soap opera that I only watched with her. God has gained such a beautiful spirit. I thank him for loaning her to me. I miss you already Ms. Rosia!!!

Mrs. Chappel will be missed by her church family, Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church.  She was such a gracious and kind hearted lady.  We send our sincerest sympathy to the family during your hours of bereavement.  God bless and keep you in His care.

There is not enough room in this Guest Book to express the love I have for my mother.  She was not just my mother, but she was also one of my best friends.  I could not have asked for a more  loving, giving/generous and God-fearing mother.  I will miss her but her memory and all that she meant to me will last here on earth and together throughout eternity in Heaven!
