Roy E. Monger, age 91 of Knoxville, passed away September 8, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Living Church of God. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. He retired from Martin Marietta. He attended Knoxville Business College and U.T. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Zona Monger; brothers, Herschel and James Arnold Monger. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Monger; children, Laurie (Mike) Hand, Jerry (Rachel) Monger; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00-2:00 pm at Weaver's chapel with service to follow. Mr. Martin Fannin officiating.
