Sandy was born March 15, 1943, in Knoxville, TN. A graduate of Young High School, she stayed in Knoxville with her sweetheart and future husband David L. Jean, who preceded her in death in 2018 and she now happily rejoins. Sandy found joy in life by spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel, especially going to the beach. She, David, and Kobe (their dog and third child) spent many winters at Mayakka River Resort and Ramblers Rest in Florida enjoying time meeting new friends from all over, visiting the beach, taking day trips, and dining out. After David passed, Sandy continued to enjoy her family and travels. Sandy spent many hours in arts and crafts over the years, especially sewing. She loved supporting her children’s activities, going to as many sporting events as she could for Kelly and Phillip and grandchildren.
Sandy now lovingly rejoins her husband, David, who preceded her in death along with her parents, Clifford and Edna Campbell.
She is survived by daughter, Kelly of Radcliffe, KY (husband Darren); son, Phillip of Twinsburg, OH (wife Emily); 5 grandchildren: Eli, Oliver, Emeri, Avery, and Kayla; and sister-in-law, Lin Step of Knoxville, TN (husband J.L., children Max and Kate).
