Shirley Ann Helton

Shirley Ann Helton, age 80 of Ball Camp passed away February 16, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Family was her heartbeat-she adored her brothers and sisters and the joy of her life was her children and grandchildren. She was gifted in cooking and always had the funniest phrases and comments. Camping, cardinals, her love for dogs, and yellow roses are just a few things that will always make us pause and remember her.

Preceded in death by her parents Shannon and Janet Nabors; sisters, Alice, Barbara Jo (BJ) and Kay; brothers, Johnny, and Jackie.

Survived by son, Bennie (Michele) Satterfield; daughter,Janet (Gary) Welch; grandchildren, Lauren, Eric, Bennie (Sidee), Brooke (Jake), Nicole (Hunter), Kasey (Evan), six great- grandchildren, Granddog, Kula; brothers, Shannon (Bev) Nabors, Wayne Nabors, Buster (Connie) Nabors; brothers-in-law, Bill Hooks, Riley Williams, and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to NHC, Melinda, Tonya, Susan, and Elise for their loving care. Visitation will be from 5-7 Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Weaver Funeral Home with the service at 7pm.
