I was her custodian for years she was a kind and loving person I loved her dearly and miss her

I grew up across the street from Cathy, Mike and Gartman many years ago. We all had great fun together. Although we've lost touch over the years, I have fond memories of our childhoods.

My deepest sympathy to the family .  Stephanie was a wonderful young woman . Watching her grow from a young lady at LPA to a successful teacher at Cedar Bluff was a joy . Her laugh was contagious!  She will be missed by so many.   Much love to you all . 

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.  Steph was always the life of the party.  I will always cherish the memories we made at LaPetite.  She touched so many lives, not only children but the families of those children and the staff as well. We sure will miss her smile. Praying for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  She was a sweet, caring, loving person. Stephanie absolutely loved her son. She was such an amazing techer.She will be  greatly missed. 

I am so grateful for her sweet life.  If I knew Steph was gonna be around I knew it would be a fun time! She always referred to me as her “favorite person in the whole wide world.”  I didn’t take it lightly.  It was so precious to me, just like she was. My family and I will always carry her in our hearts. Love and prayers for all the family and may you feel Gods peace that passes all understanding during this time. 

I had the great pleasure of  meeting Stephanie  as she transitioned into her new condo.  Although we met recently,  it felt like we were old friends right away.  When she moved in, Steph was clearly still in physical pain from her recent hospital stay (she came to the condo straight from the hospital) but the only thing on her mind was creating a comfortable space for her sweet son to relax and make memories in.  She put her own pain aside and quickly turned her empty home into a stunning  place full of love,  beauty and comfort. She was a mamma who loved her son more than anything, that was obvious from the first time we spoke. 
I remember being in awe of her beautifully decorated condo the last time I stopped by. We chatted for over an hour (mostly her being an amazing listener and offering solid advice) and I asked her if she was up for a career change.  She just laughed but I was serious :) She would have been the most amazing interior decorator/home stager on the planet! She had a true gift for making a space beautifully inviting…..it came from within.  
My sincere condolences are with everyone who knew and loved her, I know there are countless.

I was shocked to see the news about Stephanie. Brandon and Barrett - I am praying that you will feel the arms of Jesus wrapped tight around you in the coming days, months, and years. Barrett - your mama was one of my students when she was in college. I remember how much she wanted to be a teacher, and then, how much she wanted to be your mama. She loved you so very very much. I know you are always going to miss her. I’m so sorry, little buddy.  No matter what you do in your life, never forget that your mom was and will always be your biggest fan.  She was beautiful and kind and you will continue to carry her light. 

Stephanie was my mentor teacher in 2014. She’s always been in my mind as I teach in my own classroom. She was such a wonderful teacher to all her students. I could tell she clearly loved the children she worked with. During my time in her classroom, she was also pregnant with her son. The children in the class were so caring for Stephanie, always helping her when she needed it and even scratched her back. I thought that was the cutest and sweetest, the way they cared for each other. I vividly remember morning meetings and the weather song. Stephanie will be missed as she was a true treasure to all those she taught - whether 5 years old or 20 years old. My prayers are with family and friends. 

It’s hard to accept that someone who was so full of life is no longer with us.  You will be missed, Stephanie.  Peace and comfort for your family. 🙏🏼 

Stephanie my heart is breaking so much. You were always someone I looked up to growing up. My heart is so heavy. I am so happy for the memories we had together! I loved being pregnant with you at the same time. I am so glad you got to be a part of my wedding. I miss you more than you’ll ever know. Rest easy Steph. I will see you again one day. I find comfort that you are in the arms of the Lord and your daddy again. Love you. ❤️

Stephanie was Tucker’s afternoon caregiver in the infant room when he was ten weeks old, then his pre-K teacher four years later. She will always have a special place in our hearts.

Stephanie always brightened up the room and was a wonderful person. She is greatly missed. Praying for her family and friends.

Stephanie was my mentor teacher as I interned for the 2019/2020 school year. That was one of the hardest times in my life and Stephanie provided me with never ending laughter and joy. I can remember being doubled over in laughter multiple times a day even though I was under the heavy pressure of graduate school. Even though I followed and watched her every move (which I’m sure was annoying), she took me in and quickly became the most important person to me. In my own classroom now, I still sing the days of the week and weather song that I watched her sing every day to her students. I still create nicknames for all my students just like she did. There are so many parts of me as a teacher that exist because of Stephanie. My deepest sympathy for her family, who I know she loved so deeply and never stopped talking about. - Elizabeth

We were blessed that Stephanie was my oldest daughter's kindergarten teacher. Our family adored her, and I considered her a friend. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
