Sylvia Mae Crisp

Sylvia Mae Crisp age 86 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Sunday July 25, 2021. She was a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church and retired from Allied Chemical Co. Sylvia was preceded in death by parents, Robert Alger and Gertrude Dye Cooper; husband, Harold Crisp; sisters, Helen Withers, Della Cooper, Ruth Sexton, Julia Cunningham and Lillian Pullins; brother, Verl Cooper; grandson, Eric Crisp Cooke. She is survived by daughters, Brenda (Gary) McMahan and Diane (Johnny) Chavis; son, Johnny (Donna) Crisp. Grandsons, Christopher J. Chavis and Jason Chavis, and Gabriel McMahan; granddaughters, Amanda Crisp, Chloe Borowicz and Amanda McMahan; brothers, Carl Cooper and Robert J. Cooper. Special niece, Gail Borowicz ,Several nieces, nephews , great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday July 31, 2021 from 11-1 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Rhonda Hobbs officiating. Family and friends will meet at Hickory Valley Cemetery 4500 Unitia Road for a 4:00 p.m. Interment Saturday July 31, 2021.
