Sylvia Jean Hollifield

Sylvia Jean Hollifield, 85, of Knoxville,TN went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2023, at UT Medical Center. She was loved and will be greatly missed by many. After 31 years, she retired from Star Sale as a floral manager and remained working even after her retirement.

She helped so many people for many years, after her retirement - She touched many lives.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Ada V.(Byrd) Swaggerty.

She is survived by daughters, Kim Hollifield, Debbie (Leroy) Porras; grandchildren, Ashley Hensley, Jacki (Evelyn) Nelson; great grandchildren, David Hensley Jr., Kathy Hensley, special friends Jack Nelson and Kathie Birdwell and many more.

Special thanks and recognition to the ER staff, Dr. Paul Branca, and CVICU staff at UT Medical Center.

The family will honor Sylvia with receiving of friends on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920.
