Sylvia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Huling; her son, Mike Huling; her parents, John and Zollie Oxendine; and her sister, Wilma Hubbard.
She leaves behind her loving sisters, Peggy Johnson, Brenda King, and Nancy Lowe; as well as her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Island Home Park Health & Rehab for the exceptional care, love, and compassion they showed Sylvia during her time there.
Family and friends will meet at 1:45 PM for a 2:00 PM graveside service on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Pastor Stan Kaisor officiating, with Scott Allen singing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital in Sylvia's honor.
