Tanner Scott Wellman

Tanner Scott Wellman, age 23, of Knoxville, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Tanner was born and raised in Knoxville and was a 2013 graduate of Farragut High School. He enjoyed running and was a sprinter at Farragut High School and for The Knoxville Track Club. Tanner never met a stranger, enjoyed taking care of others and had an "old-school charm" about him. He loved animals, especially his dogs, Rumm and Kicker. Tanner had a unique interest in weather and a love for music. Survivors include loving parents, Jeff and Shanda Wellman; grandparents, Renee Martemucci and Jim and Debi Dunlap; and a multitude of extended family and friends. Family will receive friends, Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5:30PM until 7:30 PM at Berry Highland West Funeral Home, 9913 Sherrill Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37932 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:30PM. Minister Wayne Miller officiating. The interment service will be a private family gathering.
