In the early morning of May 27th, 2022 Timothy Sewell Robinson passed away peacefully at Parkwest Medical Center with his devoted brother Andy by his side. In the days prior he was surrounded by many loving friends and family. He was beloved by so many. Tim was a brilliant and gifted musician, a truth-seeker, writer, deep thinker and sensitive soul. His bright presence could fill a room and dispel the shadows. He was a loyal and true friend. The falling of his star leaves a dark place that cannot be filled in this world. Even in our loss we rejoice that Tim is now free of this world’s struggles and in a beautiful and peaceful place in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Tim is preceded in death by his loving father Grover Cleveland Robinson Jr., beloved godsons Aaron Templeton and Jonathan Templeton, special friends Al Behel and Dr. Arvell Luttrell, and many other dear ones.
Left to cherish Tim’s memory are his loving mother Mattie Lou Robinson neé Geer, loving siblings Amy Rebecca Simmerman and husband Scott, Stephen Andrew Robinson and wife Jennifer, Penelope Ruth Lester and husband Philip, devoted niece and nephews Mary Victoria Robinson, Quintin Kelly Lester and Philip Ransom Lester, beloved best friend and roommate Teresa Pegel Mitchell, special friend Dr. William Richards, and so many others.
The family wishes to extend our thanks and appreciation to Dr. Matthew Reichert and all the staff at Parkwest Medical Center who cared for Tim so graciously during his last days. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Berry Highland West for their gentle guidance at this very difficult time.
In lieu of food, flowers or gifts the family kindly asks that donations be made to a fund for planting a tree in Tim’s memory at the UT Botanical Gardens, a favorite walking spot for Tim and Teresa. Any excess of funds will be donated to his dear friend Teresa for her support in the days to come: https://www.gofundme.com/f/memorial-for-tim-robinson
