William E. Dohse

William E. Dohse, age 83, of Maryville, passed into the everlasting love and care of our Savior on the morning of October 20th, 2014. Bill fought a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Mr. Dohse was an Eagle Scout and a Member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University, and after serving 2 years of active duty in United States Army, received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from The University of Iowa. Bill was a Physical Therapist, and was Past-President of the Illinois chapter of the American Physical Therapist Association. He was active in the Lions Club and was an avid golfer. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bill is preceded in death by parents, William and Theresa Dohse. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carol, children; William Dohse, and wife Linda, of Plymouth, MN, Jeffrey Dohse, and wife Julie, of Libertyville, IL, and Debbie Brown, and husband Jeff, of Murfreesboro, TN, grandchildren; Janessa and Kimberly Dohse, Matthew and Lauren Dohse, and Kara and Kyle Brown, and sisters; June Bailey and Elaine Lund both of CA. The family will be having a private service at a later date.
