William C. Haslett age 84 of Straw Plains, TN passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014. He was an avid deer and duck hunter. He also enjoyed working on cars. He was a retired truck driver for Chrysler. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his loving wife, Norma Haslett; children, Linda (William) Clark, Jean Bruno, William Haslett, Carl Haslett, Harold (Janet) Haslett, Evelyn (Bryon) James; step-children, Teresa (Mike) Hancock, Tammy (J.R.) Luttrell, James Myers, Lloyd Myers, Bill Myers, Bob (Debbie) Myers; 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 15, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Lynnhurst/Greenwood Funeral Home with funeral services following at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel. Procession will follow to Highland South Memorial Park for graveside services.
