McMillian, William L. “Bill” – age 67, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2010 at Mercy West Hospital. He was a lifelong member of Huckleberry Springs United Methodist Church, and he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bill had many friends and never met a stranger. He was a compassionate and caring man whose greatest joy was in helping others and never thinking of himself. Bill was an avid fisherman until his illness, and he also loved the Vols. He was preceded in death by parents, Lou & Iona McMillian. Surviviors include loving wife, Janice McMillian; and devoted children: Kathy McMillian of Las Vegas, NV and Keith Graham of Knoxville. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of Mercy West ICU for their care and compassion during Bill’s illness. The family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home from 5-7pm on Wednesday, July 14th. A graveside service will be held at TN Veterans Cemetery on Friday, July 16th at 9:30am with Rev.
