One of the most precious memories I have....... about 5 years ago, you called me “Mom” for the first time, and it made my heart explode 💖 with joy. I think I cried (happy tears) for weeks. And all the while you were here, on Hospice, you called me “Momma “.
I love and miss you son!!!

Billy Joe, you came to live with us when you were 12 years old. Although you gave us so much attitude, and heartache, but I loved you fiercely, as my own child. When I thought about all you and your sister had lost, my heart broke. Your sis, Frankie, was adult and went on to make her own way in the world. It was sad for me to think of her out on her own, but we had to think and do what was best for you. You always kept us on our toes, good and bad. Now, you’re heavy on my heart. I will always miss you. Although I loved you to the moon and back, I couldn’t be selfish and wish you back, and in all that pain. You’re whole now, new body, and walking ‘round heaven with Jesus, free of cancer and pain. Just celebrate being with all your loved ones, and we will be there soon.
Love, Mom
