Winfield Sanders Whaley, age 71, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was born on December 25, 1953. Winfield worked as a Warehouse Manager for the city of Knoxville. He was a longtime city employee, retiring in 2012 after four decades of service.
Winfield is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Maria Whaley; parents, Andrew and Grace Whaley; brothers, Walter, Harold, DeeDee, Garland, Paul, Jim, Wayman and Aaron Whaley; sisters, Polly Young, Gail Sue Whaley, Mildred Stratton and Sharon Carver.
He is survived by his three children, Andy, Morgan and Wendy Whaley; brother, Martin Whaley ( Juanita); sisters, JoAnn Hudgins, Roma McKee (Allen) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 10am at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow.
