Allan "Biggin" D. Rush

The family of Allan Dale Rush are deeply saddened to announce his sudden passing on January 1, 2022 at Community Howard Hospital. Allan was 64 and resided in Sharpsville. He was born in Tipton, IN., to Garland Rush and Wanda (Ragan) Rush on January 20, 1957. They survive him.

Allan graduated from Kokomo High School with the class of 1975. He worked for Syndicate Sales/Hurrying Hoosiers, out of Kokomo, as a Truck Driver for over 20 years.

He was a member of the Milwaukee Iron Motorcycle Club for several years. In the motorcycle world, his MC name was “Biggin”. Allan enjoyed riding with his friends and club members, and attending the various functions they supported. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, and driving heavy equipment.

Surviving are his parents; sister, Mary Rush; brother, Terry Rush; and his grandchildren, Marie (Elli) and Kallan James; aunts, Maude Ragan and Rosalind (Nannie) Ragan; and several cousins and friends.

Allan was preceded in death by his daughter, Kierra Howell, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

There will be a gathering of friends and family at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 11am to 1pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1pm with Keith "Pipes" Barnett officiating.
