Barbara J McQuiston

On March 8, 1958, she was married to Herbert McQuiston, and he survives. Barbara had worked for Delco Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 1983.

Barbara was an active member of In His Image Church in Kokomo, and was also a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She enjoyed watching Notre Dame sports, the Chicago Cubs, and followed Kokomo Wildcats Basketball. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by one son, Norman E. (Debra S.)McFarland; her sister, Winifred A. (David W.) Fewell; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by two sons, Timothy G. McFarland, and Brian C. “Chris” McQuiston; and her brother, Lowell Grant Jr.

A public visitation for Barbara will be held on Thursday, July 27th from 4-8 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 28th at 11 a.m., with another public visitation held one hour before the service. Barbara will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
