The beautiful soul of Bertha Louise (Spradling) Stites is now at rest. There is a new Angel in Heaven and what an amazing 86 year journey she had here on earth. Those of us that were lucky enough to have shared time with her were truly fortunate and enriched. She was a genuine blessing, and a lovely person. Bertie lived by the Golden Rule, and we all shine brighter having known her. She was born November 23, 1927 to Dorthea and Roy McClory. Bertie married the love of her life, Marion Spradling and they were lucky enough to spend 24 years together. She had the greatest opportunity to marry again, the love of her life Robert Stites and continued a 36 year love story. She was a caring and giving person who shared her time and home unconditionally. A special thanks to Connie Poulin, the Hospice nurses and all of her caregivers who have helped us care for such an amazing soul. She will be truly missed.
She is survived by two daughters, Sally Lushin, Indianapolis, and Linda Spradling, Greensburg; step-daughter, Judith Rozzi, Kokomo; fifteen grandchildren, Sara McKinney, Jarred Summers, Elliott Lushin, Whitney Lushin, Spenser Lushin, Jeanine Willard, Phil Spradling, Duke Spradling, Teresa Rozzi, Jennifer Rozzi, Robert Rozzi, Adrianna Rozzi, Joann Rozzi, David Rozzi, and Giovanni Rozzi; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Lee McClory, Kokomo; and one sister, Royline Heglmeier, Las Vegas.
