Betty C Hopkins

Betty C. Hopkins, 85, of Kokomo, passed away April 9, 2016, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born March 30, 1931 to Clarence Tooley and Deloris (Dowe) Tooley. Betty graduated from Kokomo High School. Betty retired from Delco in Kokomo. She enjoyed NASCAR, playing computer games, and active volunteer of Delray Place. She enjoyed crocheting hats for the cancer society. She loved being a pet owner and loved her dogs. Betty often mentioned her fond memories of her trips to Hawaii and Las Vegas.

Betty is survived by her children, Michael Hopkins of Ojai, California, Angela (Ted) Dimitt, The Villages, Florida, Deborah (Michael) Coffelt, Tullahoma, TN, and Doug Hopkins of Kokomo, IN. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Michael Steven Coffelt and Sarah Coffelt both of Tullahoma Tennessee. She is also survived by one half-sister, Jackie Keith of Kokomo, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Hopkins on May 1, 1986, her parents Clarence and Deloris Tooley Horne.

A viewing will be held Wednesday April 13, 2016 from 12:00pm-1:00pm Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral, 2097 W.
