Charles Leroy Tyler

Charles Leroy Tyler, age 77, of Russiaville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was born to Charles and Virginia (Sease) Tyler, January 15, 1946, in Howard County, Indiana. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1964. He married Betty Jean Beheler May 6, 1967. He worked for PPG from 1967 until 1989. Chuck loved working on the farm with Ralph and Debbie Lewis, his best friends. He loved spending time with his brothers, David and Butch, and brother-in-law Dick Beheler. He also loved spending time with his little dog Lilie, and his grandchildren; playing cards with them, watching westerns together, and showing them things in the garage, where he enjoyed working on cars.

Charles is survived by his wife Betty Tyler; daughter, Kelly Prifogle & other half, David Roberts; son, Chuck Tyler; brothers, David (Sharon) Tyler and Danny Tyler; granddaughters, Deseree' (Sean) White, Heather (Bob) Best, Bobbi Bolen, and Alyssa Tyler & other half, Sam Patane; as well as 6 great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews (including his favorite, Mary Nail).

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and a brother.

A public visitation for Charles will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Following the public visitation will be a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902.

Charles will be laid to rest in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo, IN 46902.
