Christine Bailey

Christine Bailey was born in Whitley County, Kentucky on August 7, 1936. Daughter of Joseph Taylor and Sarah Edna Taylor. She was preceded in death by 4 sons: Herman, Lonnie, David, and Joe. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Pat, Raymond, Roy, Mary, Lillian, and Edith. Christine is survived by her sons Wayne McFarland and Micheal C. (April) Bailey; brother, Henry Taylor; sister, Lorein Siler; and many well loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and retired from Delco. She was a lover of her flowers, flower bed, garden, tomatoes and green beans, white roses, swing on the porch and all the babies that would come around. Her abilities in the kitchen were unmatched and she made it look so easy. Cocoa gravy and biscuits, peanut butter cookies, and zucchini bread were top winning recipes. She was insanely giving, some could say too giving. If you stopped by her for a visit you would leave with a full belly, a warm heart, and lots of laughs. You'd catch her enjoying the hot sun on a bright sunny day. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A memorial gathering for Christine will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
