Connie Wall

She was a graduate of Syracuse University. Connie worked at St. Joseph Hospital for 25 years as a Med Tech, Education Coordinator and Laboratory Manager, retiring in 1992. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church and had participated in DAR, PEO and Altrusa International. She always kept busy helping others, volunteering at St. Joseph Hospital and working in the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIP). Connie was the humble recipient of the 2003 Elizabeth M. Foster Award which recognizes Women of Firsts in Howard County. She loved to travel anywhere but especially to visit friends and family. She was an avid walker and enjoyed needlecrafts and cooking, among many other activities.

She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Wall, Kokomo; one son, Steven (Tammy) Wall, Maud, Oklahoma; grandchildren Stephanie and Douglas Wall; step-grandchildren Krysten Isenhower and Damien O’Daniel; great-grandsons Seth and Brenden Wall all of Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her daughter L. Jeanne Wall and her siblings.

Connie’s family is very grateful for the wonderful care provided by Waterford Place Health Campus – both the staffs of The Legacy and The Health Center and Serenity Hospice.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at Grace United Methodist Church, 219 W. Mulberry Street, Kokomo, IN 46901. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
