To Debbie's family:  I offer my sincere condolences at this most trying and sad time in your lives.  

Carla ( Turnpaugh ) Campbell messaged me to let me know Debbie had passed away. I couldn't believe it, we were both very saddened by her passing. Debbie and I were besties in HS.  My name then was 
( Sue Carol Warner ) I changed it legally in court to Livia Warner a very long time ago. I loved to hang out at Debbie's house and visit with her parents who were always playing a dice game of which I don't remember the name. Wonderful people! 
I was invited to go with Debbie and her parents to Disney World during that time and we had a blast!  such wonderful memories! 

The last time I seen Debbie in person was in 1991 when we had a reunion with each other and with Carla when me and my mom came to Kokomo from California to visit family.   We Sadly lost touch again after. 

Debbie and I reconnected awhile ago on face book.  She was so funny, and could always make me laugh even when I was down.  She was such a loving and caring woman who loved her family so very very much!   I will deeply miss Debbie's friendship and presence in this world...


Dear Family of Deborah Kay Carlson:   I pray comfort and peace over you for your loss.   

I first met Debbie and her family Sheryl, Rex, Delbert and Helen Cruea in early to mid 1960's one summer when we rented a lakeside apartment at Bruce Lake Indiana for a week in the same building as them.   It was a amazing to discover that our parents had known each another for years.  We had such a fun week!   

Debbie was always on the quiet side, but very sweet, and funny.  I have always loved her and thought highly of her.  It was wonderful to reconnect with her in high school after several years. There were other times we spent time together, too, here and there throughout high school, like running around Frisch ('s Drive-in in my Mercury or her black Corvair with another dear friend of ours Sue Warner (now Liv Warner).   Can you believe gas cost 25 cents a gallon then!!!!  

After many years, we eventually reconnected on FB.  But I am not very active on FB, only able to use intermittently.  But I was so thrilled to learn like me she loves Jesus, and that she was blessed with a beautiful loving family.

I have been planning a trip to Kokomo from Bloomington for the past year to visit family and friends  in July, since Debbie and I have 45th KHS '73 Reunion.   I was just about to FB her to arrange a long visit with her separate from the reunion, when I received the notice of her death through KHS Class of '73 reunion committee.     I was devastated to learn of the news of her passing.  Liv Warner and I feel the loss deeply in our spirit and for some reason feel the need to know her cause of death.    Sorry to use this venue, but we cannot locate any other contact information.  Please would someone email me to the address connected with Ellers in this post.  Sheryl is the only living member of the family that knew me and Liv.   I'm confident she remembers us although we are little younger.    God bless, and thanks in advance for reply.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Chace as you begin to go through this difficult time.  Your mom seemed to take care of her own IT issues while on campus and only called us when she really couldn't figure it out.  We will miss her voice on the opposite end of the phone and we will miss seeing her walk around campus.  Prayers to you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with all her family. I have such wonderful memories of Debbie from KHS. We both were shy so naturally we became friends. From going to see her brother Rex in his band, to going to Mud Lake one summer with her Mom and Dad. Had some great times running around in her first car a little black corvair. I was so happy when we re-connected on FB. Heaven gained a wonderful Angel. 👼

I went to many of the same schools as Debbie did along with in many classes. She was a sweet and shy friend.  She had a good and kind heart. I am very saddened by her death.  I will keep your family in my prayers.
