Dianna Sue Rubow, 60, went Home to be with the Lord on July 13th, 2018. Dianna was raised by Alvin and Helen Cox and was born in Kokomo, Indiana on January 30th, 1958.
Dianna married Willard Rubow on January 8th, 1973 and they were happily married for 45 years.
Dianna worked at Chrysler for 22 years. Dianna is a member of Local #685.
Dianna loved to sew and crochet. She was a wonderful baker- Dianna made cakes for everyone. Dianna and her family enjoyed camping everywhere, from on the river, to France Park, to Mississinewa. They would fish together. As a family, they traveled to Yellow Stone, the Black Hills, California, Florida, and everywhere else. Dianna and Willard attended Abundant Life Church for many years.
Dianna very much loved to be with her family, and she held them all together. They gathered every Sunday for dinner. She was a very loving person and opened her heart to everyone that she knew. Dianna was an angel on this Earth.
Dianna leaves behind her husband, Willard Rubow; her mother, Helen Cox; 3 daughters, Tracy (Charlie) Ellis, Deborah Gordon, and Kimberly (Dan) Anderson; sister Mary (Joe) Caudill; grandchildren Roman Heredia, Timothy Dalton, Kristen Heredia, Michael Marr, Samantha Marr, and Kylie Russell; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Dianna is preceded in passing by her father Alvin Cox; her grandparents; mother and father-in law Donald and Rita Rubow; and son-in-law Joe Gordon.
Friends and family may call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 17th at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday July 18th also at the mortuary, officiated by Pastor Toph Elkins. Dianna will be laid to rest at Albright Cemetery.
