The saying "it takes a village to raise a child" is so true for those that lived on "the circle". Doris was one of my many moms...you knew that what Doris said to you was true for every mom on that block. She taught her children the true meaning of friendship...which I have cherished for MANY years. Her legacy lives on... Prayers & love.

I will miss my best friend of over seventy years. Doris always made the effort to visit or keep in touch no matter how many miles separated us. I will always remember that and that she loved a good laugh. My love to each of you. RosePeeler
